Diane Naples - College & Career Counselor Ms. Naples has generously offered to volunteer her expertise and experience as our new College & Career Counselor. She comes to us with a MA in Guidance and Counseling and related experience including that of School Counselor, District Assessment Coordinator, and Home School Education Program Liaison! Most recently, she worked as a Human Resource Specialist for the Department of the Navy before retiring in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys painting, reading, and all things outdoors, especially hiking and walking on the beach with her children and grandchildren. Diane was an early, joyful supporter of Aquinas Classical Academy and is a longtime member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish. One of her favorite bible verses is particularly apt for her new position: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29: 11) We warmly welcome Ms. Naples as she works closely with the ACA administration and Board of Trustees to draft and present activities that inform, educate, and generate prudent "next steps" for each of our students and parents.
As a classical high school in the Catholic tradition, our goal is to help our graduates continue on with a quality academic education and continued spiritual growth. One of the best ways to do this is to help families find colleges that utilize a similar pedagogy while supporting a deepening of a student's relationship with God.
