To our Aquinas Classical Academy prospective families and supporters:
Nothing great is ever achieved without much enduring. – St. Catherine of Siena The past few weeks have had a significant impact on our country, our community and our daily lives. The silver lining is that we have been given the time to grow our domestic churches during this very appropriate season of Lent. In the midst of uncertainty, we as a Church have united to pray more fervently than ever, renewing devotion and reverence for Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. The Board of Trustees of Aquinas Classical Academy, along with our headmaster, have met multiple times, both in person and now via video-chat, to discuss our next steps. Mindful of the physical and economic recovery just ahead for our whole society, we have decided to postpone our Fall 2020 opening. We did not make this decision lightly. Our final decision was made after much prayer and counsel. The board members are still fully dedicated to the mission and establishment of Aquinas Classical Academy and will continue working toward its opening. The new target date for our first class is the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. Thank you for your continued prayers and support for this much needed high school that is being built from a tiny mustard seed. All of you are in our prayers and we look forward to seeing you again when we return to life beyond the home.
St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us! Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, pray for us! We wish your family a happy and holy Easter and may God bless you!
